We started our company during the pandemic out of necessity: we couldn’t find any candles! Our favorite stores were closed for months and we had to resort to grocery store candles that lasted a total of 37 minutes (yikes).

So, we ordered a few fragrance oils, picked a random soy wax, and made our first batch.

They sucked.

We quickly learned candle making was not as easy as we thought and began to experiment. At Lonely Harbor we want to make more than a pretty scented candle; we want our scents to unlock memories. Each fragrance has been rigorously blended to soothe, invigorate, and most importantly: reminisce.
